Journaling for Justice Class and Private Community
Are you at a crossroads in your life?
Have you ever felt like something was wrong, but you didn't know how to fix it? Do you want to learn how to use your gifts for change? I am so excited to share with you how bible art journaling can help you figure out how to make a difference even when you don't know where to begin.
Create art, strengthen your voice, and make a change.
By the end of this 6 week program, you can make progress toward becoming a new creation through:
- Using common household items to creatively express your thoughts and feelings.
- Using bible journaling to connect to God in a new way.
- Using creativity to find clarity in who you are in Christ.
- Using the support of a protected community of Christian creatives to practice using your voice to stand against injustice and step into your purpose.
- Living intentionally and with purpose.

- Get results. As you dive into the program content and meet your fellow creatives in the Journaling for Justice private class group, you can be on a path of true transformation. Follow through on what God is calling you to do. Take that next step. There can be a light at the end of the tunnel of daily drudgery. You can do this!

I know the fear of standing up what is right can be so strong that you just don’t make a choice at all. I know standing out can feel very uncomfortable, but it doesn't have to be that way. When you don't live your life using your authentic voice, it can feel like you are just going through the motions or focusing the attention on yourself rather than God. You were designed for much more than that. When I am using my gifts for change, I feel powerful and free. It makes me look forward to each new day. What do you look forward to?
Journaling for Justice Program Details
- We start on October 3rd and finish on November 5th.
- Six total program modules of pre-recorded content (access for one year)
- Six weekly live zoom sessions (every Thursday night at 6:00pm Pacific/9:00pm Eastern)
- Total cost is $197.00 (Choose a one-time payment of $197, two payments of $100, or three payments of $67)
This is not a class about fighting racism.
During this program, I'm not going to teach you about racial injustice or racism per se, but I will use racism as an example of how I use my voice to speak the truth that only I am uniquely prepared to tell. Everything in your life has brought you to this moment in time. Now you are at a crossroads in your life and need to make a choice For yourself. This is your chance to choose justice and right the wrongs that you see. God is calling you to stand for His justice in your life. Only you know what that is.

This program has 6 modules. Here is what you will discover in each one:
Module 1 - Introduction and orientation
- What is bible journaling?
- How can we use bible journaling to support transformation in every part of our lives?
- Learn how the safety of a smaller, protected community is good for internal transformation.
- Get an introduction to the bible journaling supplies you might need so you can get started right away.
Module 2 - Justice in your personal life
- What is your primary calling and how to figure it out if you don't know?
- What parts of your personal life need more attention?
- How would you feel if your life was full of relationships with people who celebrate the things about you that make you different and/or unique?
- Now that you have gotten started on your creative journey, we can try some new art journaling techniques.
Module 3 - Justice in your family
- What is your primary calling for your family/spouse/partner and how to figure it out if you don't know?
- What can we do to help you discover God’s calling for your life? How can you be sure of what God is calling you to do?
- Let’s experiment with more bible journaling art techniques. I promise you will be able to do them all!
Module 4 - Justice in your neighborhood and community
- What is your sphere of influence? What part of your community needs more justice?
- How can you use justice to expand your sphere of influence?
- Take a break from new techniques and expand on what art techniques you have learned already. What part of your art process would benefit from more prayer and contemplation?
Module 5 - Justice in the world and beyond
- God is calling you to serve the world in a new creative way. What do you think that might be?
- God’s calling for your life is too overwhelming, now what?
- Learning to be creative in a new way can open our understanding to the possibilities for change that may have never occurred to us in the past. Creativity gives us a new understanding of what can be. Let’s give some new possibilities a try.
Module 6 - Conclusion and future plans
- I am bursting with the knowledge of my new/renewed identity in Christ, now what?
- How can I sustain my progress toward my calling? What could be some barriers to my progress to avoid?
- You have finished our program and you are ready to venture out on your own! But where can you find help if you encounter some bumps along the way?
